The 40-to-60-foot range is the deepest motor-yacht segment of the Florida brokerage market — 304 vessels are actively listed in the IYBA MLS pool as of August 17, 2026, at a median asking price of $544,000 (roughly $10,400 per foot). This is the size range where serious cruising begins: two to three staterooms, genuine galley and salon space, and the range to run to the Bahamas and back on a weekend — while still being manageable by an owner-operator without full-time crew.
The most-listed builders in the segment right now are Sea Ray (39), Azimut (19), Prestige (16), Sunseeker (13), Carver (12) — a mix of volume production brands and premium European yards, which is why asking prices for near-identical lengths can sit an order of magnitude apart. Depth like this cuts both ways. Buyers get real choice and real negotiating leverage; sellers are competing with hundreds of alternatives, which makes pricing against live comparables — not last year’s market — the single biggest factor in how fast a vessel sells.
Every listing below is shown through IYBA co-brokerage, which means Charles Garland, a licensed yacht broker in South Florida, can arrange a showing on any of them and represent you as a buyer at no cost to you.
