Accessibility Statement

Atlantic Realty Group and Yacht Habit want everyone to be able to use floridaluxury.io, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on captions, or need larger text and stronger contrast. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for websites of businesses open to the public.

What we have done

• A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every public page for keyboard users.
• Every page declares its language and has a single main content landmark, a page title and a logical heading order.
• Keyboard focus is always visible: links, buttons and form fields show a gold focus ring.
• Form fields, search boxes, sliders and menus carry names that assistive technology can read, and icon-only buttons are labelled.
• Text colours were adjusted to meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large headings on both the navy and the stone backgrounds.
• Photographs of homes and yachts carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Map pins on the property search carry the price and address as their name; the same listings are always available as a text list beside the map.
• Animation and motion are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Confirmation and result messages on the valuation forms are announced to screen readers when they appear.
• Every public page is checked with automated testing (axe-core) at desktop and phone sizes, and we review it by hand with keyboard-only navigation and VoiceOver.

Known limitations

We are still working on the following. If any of these blocks you, contact us and we will help directly.

• Listing photos and descriptions from the MLS and the IYBA yacht feed. These come from other brokers and their alternative text is generated from the listing data (address, price, vessel type), not written by a person. We cannot always describe what is in each photo.
• Interactive maps. The property and comparable-sales maps are provided by Google Maps and are not fully keyboard-operable. Every listing shown on a map is also shown in the list next to it.
• Third-party tools. Scheduling (Calendly), the AI chat concierge and some embedded content are provided by other companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.
• PDF documents. Listing packages, flyers and reports sent as PDFs may not be tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will provide the same information in an accessible format.

Technical notes

This site is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Next.js/React) and is designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and with NVDA and JAWS on Windows. Some features require JavaScript to be enabled.
