Honestly? It depends what you're asking. Hull type and rough length it gets right most of the time — those are visible in the shape of the boat. The exact manufacturer and model are much harder, because a great many production boats look alike from the outside, and two hulls from the same yard five years apart can be near-identical.
That's why the answer leads with what she is rather than who built her, and why any builder guess is shown as a maybe. If you want certainty, the hull identification number or the builder's plate in the cockpit will tell you precisely — a photo never will.
